Brussels: Street Art and Comics

I love me some street art, and in Brussels, it is unique. Belgium has a long tradition of comic book art, and this is reflected in the murals featuring Tintin and other European cartoon characters.

There is actually a big Museum of Comics, but we skipped that in favor of the smaller Museum of Original Figurines (MOOF). I am not a big comic book fan, but the museum is well-done, and seeing original sketches of Asterix comics was kind of fun. My son used to love Asterix, so that one I know!

Unfortunately, the Smurfs song was playing in the background on endless repeat in one section. Really glad my kids never latched onto that particular craze <shudder>.
