Český Krumlov in Black and White

I’ve been experimenting with the monochrome setting on my camera and Adobe Lightroom. Here’s a few photos from Český Krumlov, posted without captions because that’s not so much the point with these, I guess.

If anyone has a good tip for how to keep my Canon Eos camera from slightly overexposing black and white photos on sunny days, let me know…


  1. Set your f-stop higher, letting less light in. Try half a stop, or maybe even a whole stop, based on how your photos look. You can do this in the P mode, I believe. Not in A mode. Or using shutter priority, and set the shutter one level higher than recommended for the shot. The first method requires less thinking while you are shooting.
