…set me loose in a thrift store, and I have been known to walk out with a few things 🙂
This morning, I went by my favorite thrift store here in Vienna, Carla, a Catholic charity shop. I was dropping off a couple of bags of clothes and stayed to browse.
It was my lucky day. I bought all this stuff!
This really nice batch of British Anchor ironstone, which coordinates with the Blue Onion china I’ve been picking up here and there. Now I have enough china for a big family dinner!
These great kitchen storage containers, labeled in German, to put on an antique wall hutch that I got a long time ago in Prague. I have always wanted some of these.
A small Rumtopf to add to my collection, a little wooden box dated 1918, and a vintage Riess milk can that a dealer congratulated me on at the checkout.
And these vintage travel photos of Rome. I may not keep the photos forever, but I I think they are kind of cool and the frames are very nice. Part of my ongoing effort to cover up white walls.
All for 112 Euros. Now that is my kind of shopping!
so jealous of those kitchen storage containers. sadly, though not unexpectedly, thrift stores don’t seem to be a thing here in Saudi…
