Yeah, I know back home y’all have crocuses, buttercups and birds. Here in Vienna, nothing says “spring” like icy sidewalks, biting winds, and fragile stacks of $15 eggs for sale.
As long as you are bundled up, Easter markets are a great place to enjoy a glass of new wine and a yummy snack while snapping photos, however. (Click to see larger versions with captions.)

Ha! We were walking around one another today. You have my husband’s head in one of your photos. I haven’t yet downloaded our photos; perhaps you’ll have a cameo!

What a lot of beautiful eggs, goodness! Of course, Easter has come and gone, but I’m late to your blog. No indigenous Easter at our current post, so really lovely to see actual displays.
